I have over 26 years experience defending employers under various workers' compensation schemes around the country.  I specialize in the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and meshing claims under the Longshore Act with the possible claims under a companion state compensation act scheme.

I started as an adjuster upon graduation from law school at Western New England College School of Law in 1980.  Following a few years as an adjuster for a TPA in New London, Connecticut, I began managing multiple claims under the Connecticut Workers' Compensation Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act. In 2006, I opened my own law firm and have been winning cases ever since.

I have defended thousand's of claims before the Office of Administrative Law Judges under the Longshore Act along with several claims around the country.  

I have been a speaker at yearly seminars given on the Longshore Act on many occassions along with having published a few pages on the subject in The Longshore Textbook.
